For a film that is 3 years younger than Analyze This, That felt like it was shot the day after. And the crying just gets worse. And then to throw a musical on Deniro's character... that was just plain painful.
I find that I often do not remember what a particular book was about, or the title of a really good book I read last summer. I decided to extend it to movies and games because I often find that I play a game or watch a movie that is utterly and truly forgettable, and... I forget about it. Instead of renting the same thing again (which I have done), I now have a reference. A blacklist.
I am hoping this also helps to more accurately define that elusive "what I like" factor. I have a vague idea. I also want to capture great authors, significant directors, wonderful producers and excellent artists. This will be my whitelist. Maybe this blog will help me.
